abcFolio is a web-based application that lets photographers, fine artists and other creative professionals build and manage a complete, non Flash portfolio websites. There is no need to have web development skills to use our application.

Is your offer a better choice for me than buying a template?

We think so. Unless you are familiar with HTML, CSS and scripting templates have little to no room for creativity, customization and branding. They also do not come with free design support you'd enjoy with our service.

What kind of support do I get?

We offer free, unlimited design and technical support. You can build the entire website by yourself or have us build one for you. Regardless of your choice we’ll help you along the way until you’re satisfied with the final product.

What if I'm not very experienced with web design?

No problem! Whether you have a precise idea what you want or are unclear about the design, we'll work with you on creating a website presentation you'll be proud of.

Can you design a website for me? I'm not good at it.

Absolutely. You provide the photos and logo and we'll build your website. There is no additional fee for the design support.

Can I change the design of my website after it's created?

Absolutely. As much as you want, as many times as you need - at no additional cost.

Will my website be non Flash?

Can I optimize my website for SEO (Search Engine Optimization)?

Yes. You'll have a full control over page titles, meta tags, keywords, file names, alt attributes, H-tags and other elements that make the content SEO friendly.

Can I add Google Analytics?

Yes. You can add Google Analytics to all your pages.

Can I add audio files?

Yes. You can add audio files to your slideshows.

Can I create more than one website?

Yes. Some of our customers use this option to experiment with different design concepts. Others take the opportunity to create websites for their own clients.

Can I host my new website on my current hosting account?

Yes. This is what we recommend. No special requirements or settings are needed. You can export and upload all web pages and supporting files to your hosting server.

Can I host my website on your servers under my own domain name?

Sorry. We don’t provide domain hosting, but we can set up a sub domain for you.

I don't have a hosting account yet. Can I still design and test my website on abcFolio?

Yes. You can design and test your website on our servers. Once you’re satisfied with the final result you can export it and upload it to your own hosting account. The working version of the website will continue to reside on our servers. It'll be ready for any content or design changes you wish to make.

I don't currently have a hosting account. Can you help me get one?

Yes. We can assist you with selecting the right hosting package for your application.

What kind of hosting account do I need?

There are no specific requirements. Any basic account with FTP access will do.

Do I have to continue the subscription after I publish the website to my hosting account?

No. Your website is self contained and fully functional. You need a subscription only if you wish to continue using our application for content or design changes, have access to new features or use our free design and technical support.

What are the system requirements to use abcFolio?

abcFolio is exclusively web-based, so there is no custom software to install and no server/platform requirements for you to be concerned about. A web browser and Internet connection is all you need.
